Stroke Clinic

We will be hosting a Stroke Clinic on Saturday, April 13 starting at 2:00 at the Community Aquatic Recreation Center (CARC).

This clinic is for triathletes and Masters Swimmers who are looking to perfect their existing strokes.  This clinic is NOT a 'learn to swim' clinic nor will strokes be taught from scratch (for these services, please use the CARC swim lessons).

We will be using an underwater camera system to help analyze the strokes.  The 'film' can be downloaded to a participant supplied USB thumb drive that has at least 2Gb free space (if this is done, the participant agrees to abide by the MRST Recording Policy).

Participants who are not members of the CARC will need to pay a $5 pool use fee to the CARC for access to the clinic.

This clinic is intended to be the first in a series of clinics to be offered throughout the year.  Participants will be able to compare 'filmed' improvements in their strokes over time by attending multiple clinics.

Charitable contributions to the 501c3 Manta Ray Swim Team will be accepted (suggested contribution is at least $25).  Contributions will be used to expand the underwater camera system to four cameras for use with the MRST and additional stroke clinics.
